My healing Lord with all compassion and love, “Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.” Psalms 25:15-16 In You, my Jesus, I can find hope and healing for my pain. I’m experiencing rejection, shattered dreams, betrayal, abuse, illness, job loss, and the death of loved ones. They are clinging to my soul leaving hurt feelings. They are disrupting my mental, emotional, and spiritual growth each day as I keep carrying them around with me. Lord, help me face these pains and burdens and resolve them. Lord, I invite You to live in and through my heart and to give me whatever I need to heal these burdens and give them to You. “The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses. Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.” Psalm 25:17-18 In my past, I have made inner vows, promises to myself. One is I’ll never let myself be hurt again. Inner vows encourage me to take control of my own life. This leads me to act irrationally and in destructible ways. Then I guide my own life instead of the Holy Spirit guiding me. I need to surrender my inner vows to You, my God. Make a list of them. Take the list one by one and give it to You, my God. Give them to You and believe and trust You for my healing. “Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.” Psalm 25:19-21 Your servant forever, Carol
